Re: St. Cloud State at Nebraska-Omaha
I can only hope your team has the same chemistry as you fans do here!
Seriously, I guess I could try and get this thread back on track...
Here's some recent info on our team:

Here's to believing we will put some goals into the net, no matter who your goalie is this weekend.

8:45 a.m. Thursday: Heading into this weekend's home series against St. Cloud State, here's some interesting numbers to chew on -- stats that add even more weight to the impressive job Dean Blais, Mike Hastings, Nick Fohr (and don't forget that Mike Kemp was in on a couple of these recruits, too) did in putting together the Mavs' 2010-11 rookie class. As pointed out by UNO director of media relations Dave Ahlers, the Mavs' freshman class is up to No. 4 in the NCAA for point production on the numerous lists crunched by collegehockeystats.net. Notre Dame's remarkable rookie class (61 goals, 148 points and 4.93 points per game) is far and away the leader in this category. No. 2 is Union, followed by Connecticut, the Mavs and Massachusetts. Those five schools are the only ones with freshman classes averaging 3.00 ppg or better. UNO's rookies now lead the WCHA in piling up points, having accounted for 38 goals, 43 assists, 81 points and 3.12 ppg. Freshmen have had a hand in 43 percent of UNO's goals and 33 percent of the team's points.
