Probably because he was coaching Lee when he was being recruited. It's sort of difficult to recruit a guy who's already on your team.

Where was Dean going to recruit him to?
When Lee committed, Blais wasn't coaching and Blais wasn't at UNO when Lee signed his LOI.
There is also zero reason for Phoenix to bring him in early anyway, they have decent depth in their system already.

Details, details, but Dean did say that after his last season with the Force, and before Lee got here. In any case, he hasn't risen to the level of mediocrity yet.

So is the D, scoring, Dunn, everything, but let's blame Lee, so much easier.

I'm not blaming Lee for everything, just for being a less than average goaltender.

What were dunn and lee's numbers when bob made the decision to go with lee? Because I am pretty sure they were very similar. So explain why we would blame dunn more than lee?

I don't think either goalie has played well enough to earn the starting spot the rest of the year. Both have had good games, but they both have sieved out and let in some pretty week goals.

That being said, the way we play D most nights, it doesn't matter who is in net. Lee, Dunn, Brodeur, Roy, or any current or former NHL goalie, you make the mistakes we do and play sloppy and you will give up 4 goals a game.

I didn't say blame anyone over anyone else.
I'm saying there are a lot more problems with this team than the fact Lee isn't living up to hype he had nothing to do with creating when he's only a true sophomore.

Very true. If we start Dunn last Saturday, maybe we only lose the game 4-2, unless he lets in a couple softies of his own.

Which he is prone to do.

Let's look at last years stats: Lee- 2.8 Gaa .917 save percentage 12-9-3 record
                                Dunn-2.56 gaa .915 save percentage 12-5-2 record

Pretty similar, except Lee loses4 more games than Lee
In a close race, that's huge. Who gives us the best chance of winning? I rest my case.
