Incredible-I wonder what the odds are of all those numbers being rounded off like that? I don't think I have ever seen it at any level of hockey.

Just a quick comparison, Pirri finished his final season in ojhl with a line of 44-46-48-94-46 for Streetsville/Georgetown, pretty close to what Neals final line looks like. Ill be very happy if he can put up similar numbers to Pirri during his freshmen year in Troy next season.

Me too. Of course Neal is significantly older than Pirri was his last year. Both were born in 1991.

Add in the fact that Neal is a good 20 lbs. bigger than Pirri was, and we have every reason to be pumped!

He obviously had assists added here or there to get the numbers to work out so nicely. It's the only explanation

Matt Neal finidhed 4th in the OJHL in scoring http://ojhlsite.stats.pointstreak.co...&seasonid=5985. He also finished 5th in goals and tied for 2nd in assists. He led the league in three-star points http://ojhlsite.stats.pointstreak.co...&seasonid=5985 although they were not always awarded. Mark McGowan was tied for 7th.

Edit: BTW, 18 teams now make the OJHL playoffs, not the 32 which used to. That means that four teams play preliminary round series so that 16 teams are left. None of RPI's three recruits are involved in those games, so it will be a while before they start to play. I wonder why they didn't just go with 16 teams if they were going to cut down the playoffs.
