Although ice time stats are not tracked (as far as I know), I estimate he was top 2 or 3 in terms of ice time for Phantoms defensemen. Thanks. That is quite interesting. I wonder if he has played the point on the powerplay a lot. He doesn't have the offensive stats that usually comes with someone who plays that position.

Youngstown has struggled on the power play all year. Chris has been worked in at various times as part of numerous attempts to find a power play combination that works, but he was not heavily used on power play earlier in the season. In the past few weeks, Youngstown seems to have found a power play unit (4F and 1D) that is working a bit better – Chris frequently has been the D with the primary unit in recent weeks. Puck possession has been better in the offensive zone and scoring on the power play is starting to come around. The Youngstown PPG on Saturday against Dubuque was as pretty a PPG as Youngstown has scored all year.

Although the U18 team's schedule http://www.usahockey.com/USANTDP/def...1_01&ID=233680 shows the Five Nations Cup starting on 2/7, the page for the tourney http://wwa.usahockey.com//Template_U...02_03&ID=26678 shows the first game on 2/9. Perhaps they played an exhibition game on 2/7, but I don't see it mentioned.

Albany Academy is back home Wed. at 4pm to play Millbrook, Keith Dupee RPI Class of 2000, is an assistant coach. I don't see anyone from Millbrook on CH's site. The following day, also 4pm, AA plays South Kent School, from where Andrei Uryadov came. CH lists several players from SKS, 1 Union commit. On Sat. Feb. 19th, Jake Wood & Gunnery play at AA....3:30pm

FWIW, USHR is reporting Andrew Poturalski of the Nichols School has committed to UNH. In an earlier report they had mentioned RPI and a handful of other schools were interested in him.

Albany Academy is now ranked #9 in this weeks Div.1 Prep Hockey Poll, Gunnery comes in at #6.
