He's got to show me a lot more to make onto the higher echelon of scorers. Right now we have 3 top notch offensive threats coming in. I would love to make it 4. He has a couple more games like that and i will move him up into the top group.

Remember that Haggerty is a 93, while JL and McGowan are 90's and Neal is a 91. Assuming that his work ethic is good, I am not concerned at all about him.

You can also say that Haggerty plays against much tougher competition as well. Im looking forward to seeing him play down in Hamden next month. I have a feeling he's been playing 3rd-4th line with some penalty kill duties for the U-18 team this year.

Keeping JL off the score sheet is a little like the NY Rangers keeping Ovechkin off the score sheet(Oh wait-last night the Rangers did just that in beating Washington 7-0)

FWIW, Matt Neal has been more consistant than JL this season, not scoring a point in only 3 games, while JL has been held off the scoresheet in 5 games.

As i had mentioned before-I do think Neal is the Real Deal. And he is along with JL in the top 3 scorers coming in. Replacing Polacek, Helfrich and Brutlag-we will need at 3 if not more boys who can put the puck in the net-and i think we may have just that.

It is beginning to look very much like we will have 3 new Amigos coming in next year-we may have to come up with a name for this trio since it is likely we will be seeing them on the scoresheet a lot! If they were on one line they are pretty alphabetical as the LMN line. (sort of reminds me of the old Soviet KLM line for those old enough to remember)In any case we should be in for some fun.

These guys definitely have a ton of potential Doc...it will be fun to see them in Troy. Not to mention the physical presence of the BRO going over the boards. I for one would have loved to have had him out on the ice for the BU temper tantrum. Teams will be less willing to cheap shot our guys, knowing that certain members of our d-corps WILL be conducting "diplomacy" exercises in our end....

Now all we need is a goalie or two. (I'm not worried -- I have no doubt that Seth is hard at work on this front.)

Boy do I ever agree with that. I think Luke would have certainly made his presence felt-and I do mean FELT. And I suspect coach SA would have sensed what was coming and had him out there on the last shift.
