1993 year born Jake Wood sacrificed all he could to the altar of hockey excellence over the years. Has the time to reap the harvest of hard labor and sacrifice finally arrived for the feisty and hard working prospect? Is he one of the biggest sleepers for next year’s OHL draft? Or, will he head the NCAA route.

It could go in both threads as there is a current Engineer listed as well as two recruits. Whats the age cut off for the '11 draft?

I thought all players were eligible for the draft for 3 years, at least that was based upon a post from one of our other posters with first-hand knowledge...

Unless it has changed this year, and I have heard nothing, those born from 9/16 to 12/31 are only eligible twice.

Those are eligible three times, as FD08 wrote. It has always seemed weird to me also.

Article says he's been recruited by The Gunnery, London Knights, Ottawa 67's, Providence and UNH. Later on in the report it asks where he'd like to play in the future, schools he mentioned were UNH, Maine, Providence, RIT and Quinnipiac.

Dont think its been mentioned but he plays left wing, they also list him at 5'10" instead of 5'8" like USHR has listed.

Assuming that his status as an RPI recruit is confirmed, can you post, for future games, his stat line?

In 14 GP, he's got a 9-6-15 line. He is Gunnery's 4th leading scorer and is listed at 5'8'' 155lbs

It was written while he was playing for the Halton Hurricanes, I believe it was in 2008-09.
