Can we prove by induction that SA will be suspended for the rest of the season?

So he was suspended for "conduct and ethics" good to know that showing a video of a questionable call and asking the media to look into it is unethical but Leman whining about penalties in Saturday's game is A-OK with the ********* bums at ECAC HQ. It's not like he punched Hicks like most of the RPI crowd at Friday's game wanted.

Remember folks according the ECAC whining is OK legitimate evidence based questioning is wrong. Seems to go a bit against science and engineering doesn't it.

IIRC Big Mike at Cornell got suspended after the first game of the playoffs which we won-Cornell came back to win the next two games. Let us hope that the suspension of SA has similar results. I keep gaining more and more respect for our coach. He says his piece-and he backs up his talk with action. Regardless of how the team does-this program is in good hands.

I wonder which of the ACs will be behind the bench.

              Or will JFK coach?

Interesting thought-I hope SA will not be missed-we need to win this tournament for a change

I can`t say that I am shocked by the suspension.Their was somewhat of a precedent with Schaefer getting booted for having a sit down with some of the press and bashing the calls in the playoff series with us 2 years ago.I think that Appert just kind of snapped as RPI has been on the short end of a ton of no goal calls this year. From his tone on the radio pregame on saturday I have a feeling with a calmer head morning after regret was already setting in. Is it possible to change this tread title? I don`t think it makes us look too good as fans.

Apperts suspension got me thinking about an incident that happened at HFH many years ago. Don Cahoon was coaching Princeton and he felt his team was getting hosed by the stripes. He was very upset and Too get his point across he threw every spare stick on the bench out on the ice. Funniest coaching tantrum I ever saw. A few years back when Umass was at the field house he was heading back to the bench and I said to him as he walked by "Hey Don the refs seem fair tonight does this mean all the spare sticks will stay behind the bench. He looked at me with a huge grin.

Hope Ken "The Snitch" Schott is happy. I don't want to see if the play was called wrong, I want to know if you are breaking league policy. Hope you're happy Kenny. Nate is proud of you. Will see you in AC.

Please do not remind me-I tore out most of the hair I have left that night. Murphy is difficult for us about 50% of the time but Kotyra is just horrible for us. We have the worst record when he is one of the refs. I have put him in the category of my all time worst list-Mike Noeth and Pierre Belanger.

I think Kotyra is one of the few refs the section 33-44 crowd has ever chewed out after a win. CCT game last year.

I feel Ken usually does a good job of fair reporting without forgetting where the paper he writes for is located.I am not crazy about the slant he took with this past weekend incident but that is his perogative.Having said that if he is going to start policing the league coaches he is in for a busy season. It is strange to me that he is tougher on the hometown teams bench boss than he is on out of town teams. Did Ken or any local beat writer actually blast Schaefer for his stunt with the refs two years ago? Do any local beat writers ever comment on Bob gaudet and Ted Donato being in a constant state of anger over calls/no calls nearly every minute of every game? I don`t recall that being the case. These type of things are seldom mentioned and if so It is reported in a way that let the readers make his or her own decision on the matter. I wish he had just wrote a story blasting the league for being in the dark ages with video goal review because the questionable goal/no goal calls tainted 2 otherwise awesome college hockey games.

Its really not fair to blame this on Hagwell after all it was really Ken Schotts call. But there is something to be learned here, its the fact that the ECACHL code of conduct and ethics overides the 1st amendment. It does make sense that league officiating and league business in general be carried out under a cloak of darkness because after all shining some light on it would be a step closer to improving it who wants to do that.In fact I suggest we move the league tournament 400 or 500 miles away from the geographic center of the league so who cares what happens nobody will know we can just collect our check and go on w/life (Oh we already did that). This league is just moving forward all the time.I guess it was necessary to suspend SA because we got nothin to hide...Come to think of it why don't we ban all video tapeing of games then will have ABSOLUTLY have nothing to hide....Come to think of it why don't we ban fans from the games. Its official The HAGWELL HAS NO CLOTHES...The sick part about all this is now I feel empathy for the Fat Man from Ithaca.Who da thunk !
What was the Guy who discovered milk doing to the cow ????????...Or for that matter how bout the fist Guy to drink it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got to say the logic of this post leaves me stumped. It was Schott and Leaman who got SA suspended? I'm sure he was very aware of what he was doing and what the likely repercussions would be. To his credit, he took a principled stand and was willing to accept the consequences. Your comments with all due respect, trivialize his actions.
