MinnesotaNorthStar: bando > all of you streaker:There isn't a team in this league she doesn't mention, (well, okay, she probably doesn't know there is a team in Marquette) if it does something worth mentioning. TwitchBoy: what the heck, GO CATS GO CATS GOCATSGO!
Bah... I should be in MQT for this series, but work drama is holding me back...
I think this will be one of the more important tests the Cats will see in the 1st half... Across the ice, they are facing a young, motivated squad that is flying under the radar... As noted, BGSU played ND tough... They are still growing, but they are like the 2007-08 Cats in the fact that they are gonna win some games that they have no business doing while losing others that they should dominate... An interesting series, most definitely...
It's never too early to start the Pre-game festivities GoCats!!!GO BLACKHAWKS!
So, the "No Goal," good or bad call? Heard it on the radio only and DavyD did a great job painting that picture. But Did the BGSU goalie have control of the puck before the puck went into the net? (It was mentioned that the net came off after all the commotion)

It was hard to tell. I do know there was no whistle before the puck went in, so I would have to say it's a questionable call.
They did however look at it in a rather long video review, so it's hard to argue one way or the other.
There were a couple of bad missed calls on penalties on BG though, there was a real bad high stick that got missed right in front of the BG goal.
Not getting better? So the 5-1 win tonight didn't mean anything?

No, if NMU wants to have a decent finish in the CCHA, they need to sweep the basement dwelling teams like BGSU. Of course, when NMU is a bottom-dweller itself, those games are far from easy wins.
