Hardly second rate. I expect them to win every time they take the ice. It's up to them to make it happen. If UNO was second rate it seems rediculous to want to build an on campus arena that will seel far more tickets than yost will season by season. And like I said, a team with all the talent that michigoon has should have no problem with UNO when they put 11 freshmen on the ice. Same michigoon bs, nothing but arrogance, and hate.

So the violent slash would be a good excuse for llewellyn ripping his head off? You're trying to call me on something you're guilty of yourself. Nice try but we all know in a game like that there is plenty of cheap shots coming from BOTH sides. None of it proves who had the better team that night. If you want respect for your team and school from me you and your think tank will have to try something different.

LOL- just to people like, you Jeff. Ones who want to see arrogance and hate. I very much enjoy feeding people like you, who seem to take a game so personally.

If they are not second rate, then it's not an upset, and not funny. But you take such enjoyment out of us loosing that you have some kind of inferiorty complex. YOU put yourself as the underdog, not us. You are the one who has to justify some kind of hate mongering against us.

I honestly don't know anyone who cares about UNO, let alone hate them. So it's fun to push your buttons.

I bet that's the real reason- we take UNO as seriously as any other team not called Spartans, Gophers, Eagles, or Badgers on the ice. You want some kind of aknowdegement that you are relevant. Sorry, dude- you are no more relevant than any other team we play.

No idea why you think you are so inferior to us that it's a big deal when you win. So, by your personal standards, yes, you are a second rate team. If we are not first rate and still should beat you with 11 Freshman... how are you not second rate? It's a good thing that you are not a typical UNO fan, as you are as pathetic as you see your own team.

To the rest of the Mavs- good luck in the WCHA.

You obviously have respect for our team. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a big deal when you win. We obviously don't for YOU, since the split isn't that big of a deal.

You must have really high blood pressure.

Oh, and we won that night, neener, neener, neener.

That's a fair assessment. Maybe it's fans like you that give UNO a second rate perception, considering how much you pop off without substance.

Work on the spelling. It's ridiculous. And work on your logic, too. Bigger buildings don't equate to bigger and better programs. It is the product on the ice, chief, which is improving, but isn't quite proven yet.

And like I said, Michigan has been one of several good teams with a solid foundation in the country. The talent level difference between good teams, great teams and average teams is razor thin. UNO has been competitive, but never has had the recruiting power to roll out 10-12 NHL draftees a year. That may change now. But, even with that talent potential, there is little guarantee that any team with that credential will achieve greatness. Michigan happens to have had two and a half decades of pretty good hockey under Red Berenson. The program leads the NCAA in total wins over the past decade, along with multiple conference titles. But you know what? The last Michigan national championship team had 11 freshmen. That's right- and beat a more seasoned team in their own backyard for the title. So much for your b.s. argument.

And the only one doing the hating is UNO fans like you and others in your little Mav bunker barn (oh, that's right- you were kicked out, correct?) As far as the arrogance, that's a subjective stereotype. We frankly don't care enough to hate you because Michigan's program has been better than yours. Such emotion is usually reserved for a rival. Get used to that mentality in the WCHA until your program can establish itself there. Now go replace your axe handle- it's ground down.

And I guess it's always the other team's fault. You are indeed the worst kind of fan. Take Alfa's advice and go take your BP pill.

Not looking for your respect. Looking for you to go away. And, if I may.. *scoreboard*.
