It's called human nature. Teams let up when they are up 5 goals. In a perfect world it shouldn't happen, but many times it does. Give the gophers credit the kept playing and got two goals. The team needs to come out sunday afternoon and want it as bad as they did tonight.

Same thing happened to Miami last Friday.

From here on out I fully expect that stadium to be half empty the rest of the season. I find it funny that former Gopher and current Wild head coach Todd Richards adds Rick Wilson to their coaching staff to bolster their defense. What exactly did Lucia do last summer?

With the addition of Nebraska to the Big Ten next year maybe Maturi can use the 22 million plus from the Big Ten network to buy out Lucia or more importantly Hill.

Congrats to SCSU for the earned arse kicking, but this loss is a dagger. Yeah, it's only sports and tomorrow morning Patti, the kids and I will go for a bike ride and enjoy the day, but having to ponder another lost season as someone that's been a diehard for 3 plus decades is a real downer.
