Just got in from Boston. My friend said to me that they 3rd period turned into a pee-wee game and I cannot disagree with him on that. York kept RPI in the game with a few saves. Too tired from driving to type anymore. Great student support at NU fun place to watch a game.

It was an ugly tie. O for 8 PP. RPI was ranked 27 or 28. Newsflash, we (NU) are in a bit of trouble. I am hoping that we can work it all out, but my exp. tells me the issue is not enough exp., too many freshmen. Bad penalties tonight cost us. Too bad though because for flashes at times they were skating circles around RPI. Tyler McNeely, and McCloud were far and away the most talented skaters on the ice tonight but the lines are not clicking. There was lots of slow play through the neutral zone, sloppy stick handling and they can't break out cleanly..Aside from that what can I say? I think they will work it out though. I still have hope. They need to take the New Hampshire game at home next week. In my view, a must win. Oh, Oleksiak and Ferrieiro brilliant but Stone and Bitetto looked pretty bad!

Unable to attend tonight. Hoping NU gets back on track and, most importantly...NO MORE INJURIES!

you're right about that, that game/season was sweet.

    ..unbelievable. Here's hoping otherwise.

On another note. anyone have an idea if Tuckerman, Daniels (Justin), healthy enough to start for the Huskies tomorrow?

My friend saw JDaniels this week, he's lost the boot and walking around with minimal limping, according to him. We won't see him play this week, but it sounds like he could make it back sooner, rather than later. Tuckerman is doubtful, I've heard he might in fact be out for a long time, perhaps the season. If this ends up happening, this would be 2 years in a row that INCH's player to watch ended up out for the season.

I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say an absolute no on Daniels. I saw him when I was leaving Matthews on Saturday and he was in a boot and crutches, seemed to be having a bit of a hard time putting any weight on it.

Sat in the student section at Cornell a few years back so I think I can handle the doghouse. Besides Im not a fan who will go to an away rink and start crap, just hope to see a good game played.

The weekly WaP podcast is tonight at 8pm.

    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/withoutapeer

Our first guest will be WRPI's Tim Heiman, and we'll talk to him about RPI's weekend in Colorado and the upcoming trip to Northeastern.

We are also pleased to have joining us this week women's hockey pioneer Cindy Acropolis on the occasion of her induction into the RPI Athletics Hall of Fame.

And, my thought process on tickets is that I'll get one when I show up (it's not going to be a sellout, is it?). I'm travelling by myself, and I really don't care where the ticket says it is, I'll probably sit in three different spots over the course of the game. I'm assuming that the ticket office is inside, and opposite of the Varsity Club on the Seating Chart, or is it in some random spot?

As for the game itself, I'm hoping for a quick, exciting game. There may not be a whole lot of scoring either way, but there should be a lot of up and down action, and some good chances both ways.

I'll be driving over after an interview on Friday, so hopefully, I'll be there in time for some warm-ups, but unfortunately, it'll probably be closer to puck drop.
Ticket office is in the lobby of the front entrance, pretty easy to spot. It won't sell out, it's only had 3 sell outs in the last few years, against BC and BU, so getting tickets at the door shouldn't be a problem. Of course, if you wanted a precise spot I'd suggest buying tickets online, since they allow you to pick the exact seat you want.

EDIT- food's pretty decent, obviously a little overpriced. If you have time before the game there are a whole lot of food options all around the Arena, Huntington Avenue and Mass Ave. have a lot of places you can get food (though they've started cracking down on bringing in outside food or drink so you'd have to eat before you enter or get the concession food).
