    On Sunday, the Cornwall Colts defeated the Carleton Place Canadians 4-2. Jacob Laliberté had a powerplay goal and two assists. By my count, before the empty net goal, JL had either a goal or an assist on 8 straight Cornwall goals. He was named #1 star. http://pointstreak.com/prostats/boxs...gameid=1318738

    Not counting walkons, SA has recruited two goalies, York and Merriam. Admittedly, that is a very small sample, but I suspect that he regards size as a signifciant asset for goalies, just as he looks for speed in forwards.

    (Dovetailing with the regular season thread...)...I wish SA would turn his attention to Morris on DBQ...having watched this young man pull rabbits out of hats in front of his opponents, I'm convinced he could provide a succession plan to the York Corporation. Age is an issue, but I'm just giving him my vote of confidence...
