Man, I hope Nyquist is okay for Friday. The first defensive pairing is enough.

Mahoney has been saying that but last Friday Whitehead said it would be after Christmas for O'Neill and Dimmen...with like you said that O'Neill is further along then Dimmen...they are using caution on Dimmen as he has battled this injury all season long and do not want to lose him again for a long period of time....err on the side that they are healthy for the sake of the Team in the long run.

Will O'Neill is at practice in an orange no-contact jersey.
    Also
Gustav Nyquist left the ice about 50 minutes into practice with apparent injury. Waiting to see if he returns for 2nd half of practice.
    per Rachel Lenzi

    ETA:
Nyquist slowly skated off the ice holding his left arm

With profound sadness I make this post. Dan Kerluckā€™s mother Paule recently passed. Our prayers go out to the Kerluck family and friends for their loss.

Ouellette is conference rookie of the week!

In other news -- what the heck is up with Vermont? 1 win, sub 2 goals/game?

    Third, with B.C. at 6. That's lunacy.

BUCHO's poll will probably find a way to keep BU in the top 3.

    Good luck Friday night!

Here's a kid who was selected in the NHL entry draft as a defenseman. He played about 6 games last year and had season ending surgery.
Maybe he isn't ready to play as of yet but I still have high hopes for him. The kid has been hurt, he has some talent but hasn't been able to get it going mostly because of injury IMHO

Taking out Miami would be a nice boost to the ol' PWR,but I've seen a ton of games this year, and I do believe that Maine will likely get in,regardless. For the first time in 3 years,I have confidence!

BC,UNO and MN-Duluth are my darlings this season so far...I would prefer Maine not see any of them in a 1st-round game, but The Warden and I were just tonight discussing the relative merits of Bridgeport and Manchester.(Guess you can get a decent 'tat in either place, though.)
