My UMD roots only allow me to drink rail drinks... Don't tell the CC crowd.

I'm just hoping that MTU finds a way to not be part of the 2-3 REALLY bad teams...doubtful but hoping.

You can become a tUMD fan without even switching your prescription.

My purple and gold glasses are all scratched and covered with fingerprints. Everything is blurry and it gives me a headache.

And one of those 4-10 is going to be really really good and nobody is going to want to play them at the end of the year. Not sure which one of them it's going to be either.

My postings earlier had the Gophers finishing anywhere between 3rd and 7th. I think 4-6 is too narrow for this team. I think they can reach higher and I think they can suck harder. All depends which way they want to go.

I think the Gophers are much more likely to finish in the top 3 than the bottom 3. I'll point out that I don't think either is all that likely.
I would bet dollars to donuts that they will finish in the 4-6 range, with the difference in those spots being one point or one game.

I'll stick my nose out there for others to take a swing at, and say I think the defense is going to be better (losing Leddy hurts, but I think that is offset by Fisher's departure and the rest of the guys come in with another year of experience and weight gains in the off season); and really, the offense can't get much worse then it was last season. Cepis, Barriball, Budish with a year under his belt, Hoefel coming into his final year, and a couple very talented frosh should be enough to improve the GPG. I'm not saying it's going to be outstanding, but certainly improved.

I also really believe the attitude in the locker room is going to be different, starting with the coaching staff.
I agree we could be more improved this year as long as no one leaves at Christmas break The additions of Ault should help and as long as Kevin Wehrs of last year shows up or improves and not the Wehrs of 2 years ago the D should be better. Offensively other than a solid first line and a so so second line the rest of the crew could be begging for goals....
