Pearl coming unglued before the final whistle was pretty pathetic, though. Other than putting together some decent teams from time to time, he's pretty much a disgrace to the league.

Although I obviously did not see what you are referring to, I couldn't disagree with you more.

Well, he didn't act like it last night. Berating officials, storming around the ice like a petulant child, refusing to participate in the post-game handshake. You have to get pretty out of hand to get a a game misconduct on the bench, but he managed to pull it off. All because his team was outplayed, blew a lead and lost a heartbreaker. He needs to learn to take it like a man. An apology to all the Air Force fans who had to witness that charade wouldn't hurt either.

I have no idea what happened as I wasn't there but maybe it was his way to get his team, who according to you was getting really outplayed, fired up and letting the kids know he wasn't giving up on the game/season. I don't know, just thinking. I have had many conversations with Paul when he visits Mercyhurst. He seems like a great guy. We all have embarrasing moments that we would like to take back. Paul is better than that one situation.
