I agree with you guys. No argument here. Hockey is emotional (as are other sports), but that isn't a good excuse for a mentor/coach/teacher to act the way he did. The same goes for Judge Downes, it's that simple. I don't care who started it or who finished it, they both acted immaturely. I hope the incident can be put to rest with no further issues. As I said before I don't like Comely, but respect the guy. I've been told he is a great guy by MSU fans. I know Judge Downes, and I can say the same of him. He is a great guy, super nice, and a huge Nanook hockey supporter. It’s a shame when two very distinguished and important people act like children! I'm sure this incident will improve security at future games. Still scratching my head how an incident between a Superior Court Judge and an iconic Hockey coach will be what motivates an improvement in security at future games. Isn't this the type situation you would expect students to be involved with? LOL Take care MSU fans, and we'll see you next year!

I know no one wants to talk about this any more, but I am going to say one more thing - None of us, except the parties involved, know what was said and how it was said. Conjecture does no one any good. And if it motivates better security, who cares who inspired it? People of any age can act irresponsibly, and areas where players are ought to be secured. That said, good luck to all who have moved on.
