I don't know if anyone updated this in the other thread but:

Demikes, Ringer, and Sarazin were all sent down to the ECHL after their AHL tryouts.

Tanev will be starting the season in Winnipeg.

Matic was released from his PTO with Hartford.

If I'm wrong it just shows how little I pay attention to pre-season (or even in-season, for that matter) polls, but... I could have sworn BSU was in the pre-season top 20. I know that they spent a large chunk of the season in the top 5. I would think it would be extremely difficult (especially for a "mid-major") to rise all the way from out of the rankings up to # 4 unless they managed to pile up 10 early season NC wins against teams like BC, Miami, and Denver. I know BSU's NC schedule consisted mainly of WCHA teams, which automatically makes it very tough, but still...
Can't we all just get along?
Always remember... This is just a game we're talking about here. Let's not take it all too seriously.

That was #4 right? He looked pretty good and should make an impact this year

nope, Colavecchia is number 4. Descoteaux is number 2. Which makes me very conflicted.

Komey remembered it right. They were two spots out of the top 20.

They did get off to a good start, too.

Got this off the 'New Scoreboard' thread

College Hockey Inc. has annonced a live scoreboard (with video highlites) in partnership with Pointstreak:

                          http://www.westerncollegehockeyblog....ive-scoreboard

Note that it says not all games will be available until January 2011, but if you go to the College Hokcey Inc site, they have a score-bar at the top of the page:

                          http://www.collegehockeyinc.com/view/ncaa

I will certainly check it out tonight to see how many games are truely "live"...

RIT is listed for today's game. Looks to be a Beta site so we'll see how they do keeping up with the scores.

Great for away games or if you can't pick up witr for whatever reason.

Tough loss for RIT. Interesting thoughts - Ropponen made the start. He played fairly well. He only allowed 2 goals (3rd was empty net). Anyone catch why Burt didn't play? He could have provided some offense.

I missed it and they haven't posted the box or recap. How were the shots on goal? Were the Tigers right in the play, or did Ropponen have to keep it close? I'm kind of surprised that facing possibly the toughest opponent of the season (if pre-season polls are worth anything) that Jan got the start. Good for him. Maybe he really stepped up and earned it. I assume one of the other two will start against UNO tomorrow.
