He could have opted to play as an over-ager in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, but by playing in the USHL, he retains NCAA eligibility to play at another school in the 2011-12 season. pretty sure yoiu cant play major junior as an over ager unless you played there the year before. thats how it is in OHL, maybe not the same in Q though

That's my guess. He was drafted by Sudbury. I googled that but found nothing new on line.

Ya know they say these things come in three's........soooo we should be all set except for that niggly little JL problem.I also believe PK will be an issue next year which is a good thing.

In an exhibition game on Friday, the Cornwall Colts defeated the Kingston Voyageurs 5-2. Jacob Laliberté scored a powerplay goal. http://pointstreak.com/prostats/boxs...gameid=1347117. Cornwall plays again on Saturday.

Laliberté's preseason line is now 1-1-0-1-0.
