At NU, those same seats would run around $195 for 18 home games. It is clear to me that we should raise the price we charge bu students when they come to Matthews. The tickets would be a bargain to your fans at twice the price we're charging you!
the easiest money saving technique for BU or BC fans would be to just buy tickets to NU playoff games instead of their own

How could you forget Mr. Quinn letting everything go late in the game and then decides to call a trip on Atkinson at center ice in the OT...unreal. I believe Mullane clearly took a stick around his neck with no call. Oh well

Ha, I'm actually in favor of that if it keeps visiting fans away.

$35 per game for season ticket holders?

I am shocked at how high some of the ticket prices are. As a Pgh Penguin season ticket holder, I am paying $29/game for my tickets. Yes, I am in the upper bowl but I am watching a Stanley Cup contender playing in a brand new, state of the art arena.

We made the trip to Ohio State last year to see the OSU/Michigan game and I think we paid $15 per ticket.

              2010-11 Season Ticket Prices

I have tried to determine the average season ticket prices for all the Hockey East, ECAC Hockey, CCHA and WCHA schools (plus Alabama Huntsville). Some were easy, 4 I found no information for (one since posted), others I had to guess if the exhibition and/or playoff games were included. There are likely some errors and corrections will be appreciated.

I did not include premium tickets and/or tickets which required extra donations except for North Dakota. UND requires a $120 minimum donation to the Fighting Sioux Club to be able to purchase up to 2 season tickets so I have added this into the average ticket price.

              Code:
              School per game average
              Minnesota $29.58
              North Dakota $25.50 (1 ticket) or $22.50 (2 tickets)*
              Denver $25.00, $21.00 and $15.00
              New Hampshire $24.21 or $22.37
              Boston University $22.45
              Michigan $22.45, $20.54 or $16.72

I assume that you used last year's prices here, since most seats in the new rink will average $20.31, with very limited family seating at $17.19 Plus, maybe half the rink requires anywhere between a $100 and a $2500 Beaver Pride contribution (add in student seating, club seating - which also requires a donation - suites, and "general seating").

                      Excellent work, Sean.

RPI's per game ticket price is $7 a game for alums who buy before June 15, $7.71 a game if they buy after. For the general public, tickets are $7.85 a game before June 15, $8.57 a game if they buy after. Students don't get in for free, but it does run them about $3 a game or so when buying student season tickets.
Keep an open mind. Just don't be so open-minded that your brain falls out.

According to the official Gopher sports web site.

                        Single Game
                        Public Reserved $35.00
Public General Admission $25.00 WI $35.00

                          Code:
                          Notre Dame $14.53 or $12.47
Notre Dame's are actually only $11.88 per game in the more expensive sections and $9.82 in the corner and end sections for full price tickets. Seniors and kids (12 and under I believe) get a season ticket for about half this price. The last time I inquired, the average breakdown on a given game night was right around 60-40 full price versus age discounted tickets. The season ticket prices include 3 potential CCHA playoff games. If Notre Dame hosts and plays all three CCHA playoff games, the per-game price is $12.35 or $10.60, depending on where you sit. If they play just 2 CCHA playoff games (or fail to host altogether) they'll eventually refund your money. They do charge a $20.00 fee per season ticket order, so if you get one season ticket you can add a dollar to each game, but the $20 is whether you get one ticket or 10, and they apply it no matter how you order or pay.

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Wow, certainly didn't expect to see some of those names with higher prices than BC...

No, I used the $325 price for the 2010-11 season from the BSU ticket website which states "Season tickets for men's hockey are $325, which includes tickets for first-round WCHA Playoff games (if BSU hosts) and season tickets to BSU women's hockey." Bemidji has 16 RS and up to 3 playoff games, so I divided $325 by 19. Also, as mentioned, I did not include donations as you can still get season tickets without making one.

I also did not include student/faculty/staff/youth/senior/young alumni/group or other discounted prices that require meeting certain conditions. I included Providence's Family Plan because anyone can purchase it (for 2 adults it would break down to $4.69 per ticket/game, still a savings over the regular season ticket price). As it is, CC with 7 different prices made me question whether or not to list them all (but CC did provide the per game price).
