Well, when I created the thread, I had a #11 ECAC media ranking and a #44 overall @ INCH to go on.

I also had no idea our freshmen would be as good as they have been, nor did I envision the thoroughness this team has. Hmmm... I guess nobody else did either!

Looking forward to the battle of CT Friday night - Tough spot for the bobcats

I think they prevail in a barn burner - 4-3 in OT

Love the way the team is playing and utilizing all players - The goaltending has been good even though Clarke would like to have the 3rd goal back in the Umass game - he stood strong down the stretch

Brown is always a test - no vibe in providence and no fans come out - bad rink! and bad support! I hope they come to play - I like the Cats 4-1

Gonna miss the Yale game, but heading to Brown Saturday night.

Hoping for another 4 point weekend.

Wow. Was joking but that's too bad. Wish him a speedy recovery.

So I didn't get to follow the chat live, but I just read the whole thing. Neither Rand or Allain really took any risks with any of their answers and they all seemed like they went through a team of PR geniuses. But can ya really blame em? Way too much "no comments" and "Tiger-esque" responses.

I'll take the Bobcats 5-3 with an empty netter.

I was able to catch about 13 seconds of it around 2:30. From what I saw, you're right that they were way to conservative in their replies, which is completely understandable.

I'm trying to find some time to go read the transcript...

Less than 23 hours to go.

Any one know of a LIVE stream for the game tomorrow? QU site does not have one listed. Would rather a video alternative to the WQUN feed if possible. Thanks.

Considering starting a friendly QU fantasy hockey type thing. The following post lists Bobcat player values and salary cap hits. You can add as many players as you want up to $20. You pick a new team each weekend. If you opt to do this you will be picking players for the Yale and Brown games.

The next post will also list what statistical categories will be counted and how many points each are worth.

You earn points in each game by first selecting your "team" from members of the Quinnipiac Bobcats roster. Bobcats players earn points for you by gaining tallies in the statistical categories listed below. But you are limited in the number of players that you can choose by a salary cap. Players that typically earn more points will cost more to purchase for your team. Fill your team with as many players you want up to $20.

Player salaries will go up and down over the season depending on if that player is hot or cold.

                            Forwards/Defense:
                            Even strength goals/assists: 10pts/9pts each
                            Power-play goals/assists: 8pts/7pt each
                            Short-handed goals/assists: 12pts/11pts each
                            Penalty minutes: -1pt each minute
                            Plus/Minus: Rating multiplied by 2pts
                            Shots on goal: 1pt each
                            Blocked shots: 2pts each
                            Faceoffs (won minus lost): 1pt
                            3-star recipient: 10pts

I've done this for quite a while with friends offline. Maybe it'll work bringing in new people on here. If not it was a valiant effort. Just post your players if interested and I'll take care of keeping the stats.
