Re: Official 2009-2010 Miami Season Thread
'08 I believe Blais is like "blaze". Yea, I really wish more people south of he border could have seen those two US/Canada games. I read somewhere that 40% north of the border were tuned in to at least part of the game. I think that's better than the super bowl down here.
Nice job again '95 and the second half data are interesting. I know we often talk about the swoon. Counting ties as one-half of a win and if my arithmetic is correct, Coach Blasi's winning percentage overall is about .575 and using '95's second half numbers the second half percentage is .535. Of course the overall data include the second half, so the difference is bigger if you compare first to second (unless I am missing something). A difference for sure, but if you factor in that most of the OOC games are in the first half, and until this year the OOC schedule was not that difficult, the difference may not be as great as we think. Don't have time now, but it might be interesting to look at first half league games versus second half league games. What got me thinking of this is that Miami before Coach Blasi always seemed to have difficulty in the second half (at least with Mazz), but I have not checked the data. When I retire, I'll be able to do all this stuff.
