speaking of jones... he's back up with the preds again, getting about 10 minutes a game, and he has scored a goal in each of his last 4 games (including tonight against edmonton).

Got a chance to catch the end of the Preds/Wings game last Saturday night, and he was playing very well. He was skating circles around the Wings and Osgood had to make a couple of big saves on him to preserve the game. Good to see him making the most of his 10 minutes a night. Hope it continues, unless they're playing my Wings.

Yea a minimum of 18 games left, although I am hoping more like 20-22 games left. You are right these kids are something and I believe those 4 will all have 100 pts. That has never happened before and makes my point that it can happen. Just look at these numbers they are putting up and I believe Camper will get over 160 pts and pass Jones. Biggs is a prolific scorer, he isn't putting up monster numbers but he is 17 and playing in the USHL. I think you are forgetting about Berschbach in those young players you are talking about, he put up great numbers last year and is doing well this year also. IMO having more talent gives you more of an ability to have a lot of guys put up big numbers. I think if Jonesy had someone else besides davis he would of put up bigger numbers than he did.

let alone davis' shoulder injuries late in his career didn't help to take much pressure off jonesy. i don't put much stock into the U17 clubs numbers just yet, they are all 16/17 year olds playing against upwards of 20 year olds. they'll take their lumps, as you can see by their record, but it will certainly help them become better players because of it and we should really see points production next season i think. currently biggs is 3rd on his team in goals, and leads in penalty minutes. like father like son haha.

Biggs won't be 17 until April.

He also would have easily walked away with the CCHA rookie of the year hardware, which I still think he got robbed on.

I do agree some of these young kids are great at lighting the lamp, Mullin, Gacek, and I read that Biggs had a line of 40-48--88 playing in Toronto last year as a 15 year old.

Wingles and Cannone will definitely break the century club, and could do it this year, with at least 18 games left on the schedule (16 + 2 CCHA tourney games), they can come close but it may take some more big games or a long run to hit the mark. Miele was hurt by missing that first half of his freshmen year so is a little bit further behind at 64 points. Four players in the same class with the potential to hit the 100 point mark, these kids are really somethin.
