And speaking of that MSU overtime loss, that most likely would have been a tie if 3 players wouldn't have tried to poke check and actually laid the body, but can't complain, 11-2-5 with the #4 schedule so far isn't anything to complain about.
I could of swore I heard camper give a OLAY as he was going by grant in the ot also lol

RHM, I will defer to your greater judgement on ND's talent levels. My hope is that they are able to turn it around for a strong showing in the end of the season.

I have to agree about the 11-2-5 start...I am in awe that we are in the position we are - maybe I'm being too picky. If so, I'll back off a bit.
          Long live the "Brotherhood"!!!!!

Giving up a home run in Great American Ballpark is kind of like walking into a chocolate factory and yelling "I WANNA BE FAT!!!"

It's going to happen. Just give it time.....and a little effort.

I have no doubt that they will, but as for being picky it is what it is. I would rather you or others knit pick over little things that aren't big issues than us have a whole heap of a mess to talk about lol

That is where I was going with it, they may not be putting up huge offensive numbers but they do have talent. But regardless of how many goals you are averaging if you hold a team to 0-15 on the power play that is an accomplishment. Case in point miami is only averaging 2.9 goals a game, but I would consider this team to have a lot of offensive talent and they aren't putting up numbers that aren't much better than ND.

I guess this is a good problem when things are going well enough that you have to knit pick little things to fix. But for me I notice the improvement, especially on the special teams the last two weekends. Just hope the focus stays in the right direction and they continue to improve.
ND does have talent, but at least from my vantage point, aside from Kevin Deeth, and maybe Ryan Thang, they don't have much team speed. I was also surprised at their lack of size. I think they lost more after last year than I initially thought. Don't get me wrong, they're talented on paper, but it's not translating...yet.

Yes he is, very good player. He was a late bloomer and had attitude problems as an early teen, but he has matured nicely and grew into his body. Of course having good genes help but he has turned into a dominating player. The OHL was after him hard but decided he wanted to go to college and well lets just say Miami is a good school with a great program close to his family . But redeagle is right, everyone will hear something shortly. But an incoming player has played a good part in any potential decision.

The U17s have had a pretty rough year of it, but he's been lighting the lamp for them. Kid is listed around 6'3" 205 and still a junior in highschool.

An incoming player has an effect on it? Wouldn't happen to be the other Cinci native would it?

Earlier this season he mentioned that he was down to five schools, NoDak, Michigan, ND, Miami, and I can't remember the last school but it was one of your typical premier programs.

I thought the 5th was Denver but I could be wrong. He is a very skilled power forward type player. Similar to McKenzie in the skill set and way he plays. For me I am really impressed with how he has progressed, as for where he was starting bantams to where he is now it's like night and day.

Sounds exciting. Let's hope it happens. I saw the tale of the tape. He's a BIG kid in the truest sense.

When is Mullin coming to campus? Next year or '11-'12?

Mullin is coming next season and he is having a huge year up at Shattuck. Gacek is coming in '11 which will be a big class for miami.

There are some local kids that are coming up on the radar and it is nice to see. Chris crane is heading to OSU next year and is a nice player. There are questions about him, which are still there and I think why he ended up at OSU and not Miami or another big time program. There is a ex shattuck player who is a local kid that I know wants to come to Miami, but he is a defenseman and might have to wait if he wants. Although I can't find where he is playing now so maybe someone else can find him, kyle forte. It is good to see some of these kids making names for themselves. And CJ Groh is -scheduled to go to alabama-Huntsville but we will see how that turns out.
