First link ranked Leblanc as the worst forward in camp. Ouch
Second link had Moses playing center, something we haven't seen from him in his two years at UNH. I wouldn't be surprised to see him as the second line center to start the season with Leblanc gone.

Interesting how both observers of the Blackhawks' camp thought Stevie Moses was the fastest player on the ice. Sounds like he and the UNH coaches have a decision to make - either keep him at right wing and hope that his skills as a "finisher" improve or move him to center for his play-making potential.

Some observations of Paul Thompson at the Pittsburgh Penguins Prospects Camp:
"Paul Thompson won the shootout competition yesterday (and tricked me into thinking he was Hanowski or one of the drafted guys) and was very solid today as well. He has a heavy accurate shot – a trend among draft picks and camp invites alike. Think Shero knows there is a weakness on the wing?"

From USHR's report on the Select 14 Festival...

From the Forest Green Team 6'0", 150 lbs. Brendan van Riemsdyk (Red Bank Generals and the younger brother of James Van Riemsdyk) is all gangly arms and legs. When he grows into that frame, we expect he'll be a force. He already is hard to miss. In addition, Van Riemsdyk showed some nice leadership ability, shepherding a teammate away from taking a retaliatory penalty while his team was attempting a comeback.
BC and BU are going after 14 year old's, maybe UNH should get in the mix.

"We (Trevor and James) have a younger brother (Brendan) and hopefully he'll make it 3-for-3 for UNH." JvR in a February 17, 2010 interview with insidehockey.com.

Jeff Silengo, Kevin Goumas, Justin Agosta, and Eric Knodel are playing together on the (loaded) Connecticut Yankees in the Chowder Cup this week. They won their first game 13-1. Follow their progress here...

John Henrion and Jeff Wyer are also playing in the tournament, but on different teams.

Sounds like season ticket sales are going well.

I'm a season ticket holder, which is the only reason that I am on an athletics mailing list. Twice this summer I have received emails advertising that I can "become"a season ticket holder.

I never got emails like this last year, and even the Friday/Saturday packages weren't advertised until later.

I imagine the atmosphere at the Morgue will be even more underwhelming than usual this year.

I don't think this is exclusive to UNH. I would imagine most teams are seeing a downturn in demand.

My guess is UNH hasn't done this because most 14 year olds don't have e-mail accounts set up yet...
