        3rd Round - 44 - Matias Cleland - Waterloo
"John" doesn't sound like he's related to Lukas. I say we recruit him anyways. I'd like to see that name on the back of a DU jersey again

Don't put a lot of stock into this list. Its been floating around for a while and hasn't been updated or tweaked.

DU recruit David Makowski, the most dominant D-Man in the USHL and who won a championship with Green Bay, wasn't listed in the Top 50.

Where's Sam Brittain? One of only two college bound goaltenders ranked by CSS.

Shore was the top scorer in the Under-18 Tourney and the WHL went after him hard. He should be a lot higher as well.

Finally, Bennett may go in the 1st round so that tells me all I need to know about him.

I was told that this list is considered to be a joke in college coaching circles. DU has one of their best classes ever and should be in the Top 3 in recruiting classes.

Kyle Rau has a twin brother, Curt, that also plays on the Eden Prairie team. Curt is a dman though.

I've read some places online that have said that the Rau's are looking for a package deal from a potential college that would take both brothers.

These "package deals" seem to be coming up a lot lately. I don't recall hearing much about them in the past. I wonder if the high cost of tuition is driving this or parents are getting more savvy.

Kyle Rau committed to the Gophers.

Doesn't sound like a package deal as his brother Curt is uncommitted. Curt is also a standout lacrosse player though so I'm not sure what route he'll go.

Wow, what are the odds of that, just talking about him today, and then the article comes out today:

Denver and North Dakota were the other top choices for the 5-foot-9, 165-pound Rau, who scored 38 goals and had 39 assists last season and, as a sophomore, helped lead the Eagles to the state Class AA championship.

That is what I was referring to and those are the facts as I understand them. I meant payback simply in the sense that the brother of one of our current/former players played for our biggest rival (arguably) and scored a ton of goals against us. It'd be nice to "return the favor"
