Priceless, it is possible for the DU/Wisconsin game to end in a tie tomorrow. If tied at the end of regualtion, the rules allow for a 5 minute OT. If still tied at the end of OT the game ends that way. Only game in the WCHA Final Five that can end in a tie.

I don't know if that is the case for other league's consolation games.

They can all end in ties.

Being #3 or #4 means being the #1 seed in Worcester, so does moving up one rung even matter?

It means possibly an easier bracket.

              OK...that is done.

Denver and Miami are #1 seeds.
Wisconsin, BC, UND,SCSU (in that order) can also be #1. All are in and cannot be below a 2 seed.
              Bemidji State is in.
              Cornell is in.
              NMU is in.
              Yale is in.
              Huntsville is in.
RIT or Sacred Heart is in.

              That's 12.

              4 spots are left.

Maine, Union and Michigan are autobids. Win or the season is over.

That means the bubble could be as small as one team, and different combinations knock different teams out.

              The bubble

              Ferris State
              Alaska
              New Hampshire
              Vermont
              UMD

              Tomorrow night should be fun.

What final PWR rankings do you have to support these brackets? I had the following PWR Predictor (conference champs BOLD):

                1. Denver
                2. Miami
                3. BC
                4. UND
                5. Wisconsin
                6. St. Cloud
                7. Cornell
                8. BSU
                9. Yale
                10. NMU
                11. UNH
                12. Michigan
                13. Alaska
                14. Vermont
                15. AHA/RIT
                16. UAH

I'm guessing the following regional (St. Paul) based upon this PWR:

                1. Denver
                8. BSU
                9. Yale
                16. UAH

This is based strictly on seeding according to NCAA, and according to Jason Moy's Bracketology Live tonight "Denver gets sent to Minneapolis only if the rest of it's bracket is in line with attendance". I think this makes sense since this Regional set-up would have tons of Beaver Nation fans, as many DU fans as any other regional would get, and it would be closer for UAH than Albany as well. If the NCAA put Kansas in their closest geographic regional for Men's Basketball, why wouldn't they apply the same decisiveness for the Hockey tournament as well?

Sorry, Cornell, AHA/RIT & UAH were supposed to be bold/conf. champs as well.

That's using the current PWR, like always.

Am I correct in assuming that if BC wins and Wisconsin loses tomorrow, BC will be the 3 seed?

Yes. And if that happens and UND wins, then Wisconsin is #5.

They are in unless one of the autobids knock them out. They would need all of Michigan, Union and Maine to all win to be knocked out.

                          Edit: They're basically in

Ferris's hopes hinge on two things:

                            1) Whether they can beat or tie Miami tomorrow afternoon
                            2) If NMU can beat Michigan

If either one of those two things happen, Ferris should be fine. If both go to hell in a handbasket, Ferris is the first team out.

IMO if UND and Wisco finish #s 4 & 5, they will play in St. Paul. DU will be in Albany with AHA Champion.
