Merrimack had a bigger improvement in HE (13 points to Maine's 11-point improvement).

Yeah but Timmay is well established by Maine fans as an incompetent coach while Dennehy has shown promise.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw Luke Popko and his team worst -9 rating show up as best defensive forward. Maybe he is BU's best defensive forward, but certainly not in the league.

Also, I'd be shocked if it wasn't Dumoulin and Newton on defense.

If you guys split last weekend vs UMass, I think he's a lock. Even so, I still think he gets the award. He turned his team around more than any other coach, and got home ice. Pretty big year for the Black Bears.

I've seen every goalie (excluding backups who never play) in this league this season. Hutton and Beaudry are clearly the two best IMO. Beaudry gets the nod because he's played significantly more minutes.

For a team without the slightest hint of an offense.
