I like the matchup vs. OSU. No chance of an emotional letdown which has plagued this team in second round home matchups due to a building that's not full. Stupid spring break.

Hopefully the season ticket holders and their friends are out in force.
Hopefully with Spring Break ending on this weekend, instead of beginning on it, we can have a little bit bigger crowds than normal.

Reichard has the numbers to warrant the starting job. Who has had the better go of it lately? OSU has gone with one starter, Carlson, the last 3 weekends.

Its iffy. Last weekend Knapp was the better of the two. The weekend before against UNO it was Reichard, and against BG it was a toss up. Knapp probably would have had the shutout if the team didn't give up playing defence and BG didn't start gooning it up. You can make a case for either of them, but realistically the only bad outing for either of them was that 1 UNO game I think.

Its hard to argue against Reichard's numbers though, so we will probably see him. Either way we are in good hands, either the #1 CCHA goalie this season or the #2.

Can we call "dibs" on getting Yale in our regional?

I'm definitely on my way back for the games this weekend. Cant wait to be back in O-town.
You mean just like cody did last year after Connor faltered in the 2nd round at home? It what makes this team great that they have a great line up but have plenty of guys more than capable of stepping in. I would also hope to believe that these goaltenders know it. Just like Connor was right there cheering the team and cody on last spring.

Back up to #1 in INCH

Is Ohio State an intra-state rival? Sure, but the RedHawks have owned the series in recent years. Since the start of the 2005-06 season, Miami is 15-3-4 against the Buckeyes.

I bet he got half his votes because of that pre-game staredown.

C Mac got some votes too.

How much of a difference one night makes....

Alaska held serve at 7 but there is a new holder of a #1 seed and that would be the dreaded Boston College Eagles...Oh not to mention a little team called North Dakota lurking on their heels. However the CCHA still has 5 teams in with UNO hanging just on the outside. Next weekend will go a long way towards shuffling this all out. If NMU wins in 3 there is a chance they both could possibly get in, however the winner of UNO-FSU will get in and the loser will most likely be out. Also if Mich is able to sweep sparty that could knock sparty out...lots of possibilities still out there...Oh and don't look now but Minnesota is starting to play pretty good hockey.

Yeah, will be there for Friday and Saturday. Hoping we don't have to worry about Sunday...well, assuming we're on the right side of the scoreboard Friday and Saturday! If there is a game Sunday, it's doubtful that I'll be able to attend.

Ordered my tickets today. On the glass in section 16 Friday and Saturday. Can't wait. I'm bringing a "Hockey Virgin" with me. He's an OSU football/basketball fan. I told him I'd have his back before and after the game but while in the Goggin he's on his own.
