Hmm. Mispellings is iffy, spell check makes that a harder one to hit on. I've seen a good amount of historical errors recently, I think one of which was a couple weeks ago saying we had only won the CCHA title in the 05-06 season and had forgotten about Blasi's championship as a student.

I'm calling "'Hawks look to soar past Mavericks" or something to that effect.

At least we get someone with a neutral view of the BG fight. And with that many DQs this season, it definitely does look like that team loves to goon it up when they're down (read: every game).

But then she picks a split, so she still sucks.

he was knocked to the ice by RedHawk Alden Hirschfeld, who got far too physical with assistant referee Tony Molina as Molina escorted him to the box.
            That was Grover, just saying.

"Michigan plays three of its last four regular-season games at home. The Wolverines are 7-0-1 in Yost this season."

Paula please do some more research. Miami swept Michigan at Yost.

I just try to channel my inner Erika Hadley and hone in on an unparalleled level of predictability and mundaneness. Its a gift really.

"I have a bit of a problem with Wideman's selection, as he was on the ice for that brawl Saturday"-Paula Weston (regarding him being named CCHA Defenseman of the Week)

I guess I don't understand how his participation in a fight correlates to his superb defense along with scoring multiple points. Apparently she has been reading posts by BG fans.

I am finding that with each passing season, I lose more and more respect for this Weston that calls herself a "writer" or worse a "journalist."
                        Long live the "Brotherhood"!!!!!

Giving up a home run in Great American Ballpark is kind of like walking into a chocolate factory and yelling "I WANNA BE FAT!!!"

It's going to happen. Just give it time.....and a little effort.

Checking other teams threads, they all pretty much say the same thing.

"Well, we DO NOT want to finish in this spot. We will either a) have to go to Oxford and get swept by Miami in the second round or b) have to play Miami in the semis at the Joe and the season is over"

Paula Weston hating on the fight makes me love it that much more. Like this joker has any concept of what the Brotherhood is. Perhaps they were protecting their goalie? Last Saturday was a very unique circumstance and there is a little part of me that would love to see BGSU pull off a first round upset and have them come to Oxford.

North Dakota's Darcy Zajac summed it up nicely after their game againist SCSU last weekend:

“It’s frustrating because if they would’ve let it happen, it would be settled now. Now it’s just going to escalate and you get worse and worse things happening. … We’re grown men. We know what to do. We know how the game is played.”

Oh no they didn't. Awesome stuff. Without yet heading the article, I'm going with over 12 references of "Brotherhood" or "Red and White"

Probably a good guess on the over/under of 12 there.

One thing I think the Student completely missed though... Was the fact that UNO is leaving and this is it for our conference series with them.

Yeah she did take quite the neutral stance...however I thought it was just a bit extreme when she was talking about anyone who fights should automatically get ejected from the game? I mean a scuffle every once in a while is part of the game, unfortunately nothing too interesting (until last week) is able to happen in college hockey. Think about how many players would have been ejected if everyone who as she put it "took a swing" got ejected?
