ECAC Pick the Standings 2024-25
Hey everyone, here's the contest for this coming season! Make sure to get your picks in!
If you made your picks on the previous year, just repeat them here. I will try to move them over, but your help would be appreciated.
Scoring is unchanged from prior years. In short, you will receive a score based on the square of the distance from your picks to the actual standings (e.g., if you pick a team in 4th but they finish in 7th, you get (7-4)2 or 9 points). Sum those up for the twelve ECAC teams and you'll have a score between 0 and 572. The entrant with the lowest score will be our winner.
You have until the puck drops on Friday, 25 October at 6:59 PM EDT to get your picks in.
Tie breakers are:
Pick correctly the ECACHL Regular Season Champ.
Have the most teams in the correct order of finish.
Have the most top 6 teams in the correct order of finish.
I will flip a coin.
PRIZE: Your name will be included in next year's Title of the competition as the defending champion
Example: ECAC Pick the Standings 2024-2025 (Ralph Baer Edition)
Who could resist this prize???
