Holy. Charbrier went over backwards twice. This time it’s a puck in front of the goalie and BC gets a clear try gift wrapped. Charbrier needs change that skate blade or something. Unreal.

That was probably the best period of hockey played by a Maine team in 20 years! To outshoot BC 5-0 on that BS call and just attack them relentlessly instead of sitting back and letting them come at us. BC has great talent, but they were impatient on that PP, never set-up and always tried to score the pretty goal. I am sure they will get better and may come at us in the 3rd in a big way. But so impressed with that period. AND the BC player writhing on the ice like he was out for the year to come back is bull bleep. IT was not even a penalty! Mitton led with the shoulder and knee to knee was incidental. I HATE knee-to-knee hits, they have no place in hockey, that was not one of them. Hopefully no blown tires in the third and they keep their foot on the accelerator!

If I’m Barr I keep the team pressing and don’t play passive defensive trap. BC will bring an onslaught if they try cling to 1 goal lead.

I’d tell them there is a day and a half of rest, so empty the tank if you have too. Put everything into getting these 3 points!

It was a little different, there guy didn’t lead with shoulder. He extended leg for a trip. Should be two minute minor for tripping IMO.
