Good to see Maine getting guys camped out in front of net. Boija played well. Fowler got robbed. Not sure I like the way game ended, little sloppy, stupid penalty on Fowler but seems like a hard glove to the face should have been called on that exchange also? Another win tonight would be greatI swear there ain't no heaven but I pray there ain't no hell.

Yes, they pulled the goalie. Then after a different NU player hooked Maine guy which made NU put their goalie back in on the next face off. That Maine power play didn’t last long as I recall because they called Maine for a penalty not long after.
Maine nowhere near played their best game and won. If they play their best game tonight they will sweep but I do expect some NU push back tonight and maybe some more luck for the Maine traitor Williams (I'm joking)
I thought it was clear that Keefes plan to start the game was to rough up Maine. Saw some cute after the play slashes too only one cheap one called with the trip. Last year it would have got under Maines skin and they may have retaliated this year they play composed.

Just tossing the idea around…….
I’m curious to see if Barr puts that top line back together tonight. Will it be “message received” by Breen and Nadeau and they have an impact game after being “demoted”?
If so, just make it a one last chance tonight and if that fails, back to last nights lines for Merrimack…
We’ve all seen coaching tools like this used to send the message with a good result. Hurt pride can be a great motivator.$90(more) for a drink holding ledge and a Maine blanket, but the views still great.
Just win.....

Lyndon Breen is a fantastic hockey player. 3 years ago he was great with Poisson and Houle, 2 years ago with Freel and Houle (toward the end of the season). Those guys are grinders. I think Fowler will be a good fit for him (pretty similar player to Freel).

Maine were a poor team in his sophomore year and he still managed 25 points in 33 games. He was a Hockey East second team all star and led the country with short-handed goals as a junior. Maine might be deeper this year, but he'll still be vital to its success. The season's only 4 games old.

One area the team the team could try to focus on improving is face offs. They were very bad there last night. Freshman Komarov went 0-6 on face offs. I’m guessing NU last change meant he went head to head with Williams line. But still, that lead to a lot of extra time of pessesion for NU.
