And FWIW, it's homecoming and parent's weekend at NU. The Saturday game is already posted as sold out; relatively few tix available for Friday AFAIK."Through the years, we ever will acclaim........"

That Makar short handed goal was a “man amongst boys” moment. Chipped it away and beyond the d in his own zone on the pk, blew the guy off the puck, corralled it, then sniped it under the blocker and above the pads.
Edit: The guy hey schooled is 5th year Dman Moore that is 6’2” and 195 lbs and has played in 129 ncaa games. So given that the move and goal was impressive. Makar is playing like a leader out there. Too bad he didn’t transfer a couple years ago.
But I agree Scott deserved a star. He got something more meaningful at least in the Hockey East Player of the Week award.Last edited by Sparkee; 10-23-2024, 09:13 PM.

I think Maine gets a win this weekend. They are due and given that it seems like this is when Maine plays their best hockey with Barr as coach I think they find a way. I don’t see much between the teams so should be a couple of close games.Originally posted by BobbyBrady
Crosby probably wouldn't even be on BC's top two lines next year
