Would love to see Ryan Greene really up his game this season. He's off to a good start!

      - Love the new corner scoreboards (But they should include the penalty clock.)
      - They took away the only healthy food option! - #NoMoreWraps
      - Not sure on Eiserman's 200 foot game because they threw him out 1/2 way through the game. (I watched the entire scrum and didn't see anything. Does video exist of his apparent transgression? A transgression that took the ref's 7 minutes to find? )
      - The second period is everything that's wrong with sports today. (Three long reviews to circumcise a mosquito.)
      - Yeah to improved sound!
      - Cole's magic is his smooth skating and the spin-o-rama! He's going to be fun to watch for two seasons
      - Caron looks super confident and locked in.
      - Ryan Green is going to battle Eiserman for the team scoring title

      Which Cole????

And I concur with smyler3 about the time not being centered but rather facing the corners. I know that panel is 360 around but my eye goes to the center of the board to find the time and it's not there. Also, the font is too small for it.

I'll defer to everyone else about the sound. My seat is in the last row so I thought it sounded fine. The comments about it not being good down by ice level is interesting. What are you hearing? Or not hearing?

►USCHO: “Greene has a knack for getting the Agganis Arena crowd going in its first games of the season, having now scored five goals in his three BU home openers. He and his linemates Shane Lachance and Quinn Hutson combined for a plus-9 rating Saturday.”

#3 in both polls. Webber contract extension, large SNL and more in the blog.

Colby Cohen: "Celebrini’s awareness of where other guys are on the ice is just remarkable. Hockey IQ doesn’t get much higher. He’s fun to watch."

Last Terrier to score in his first NHL game was Wade Megan in 2016-17.

Celebrini highlights, Pandolfo Media Call and more on the blog on today's updated blog post.

Great win tonight! I’m really excited by this team early. They play hard and fast for the entire game. That’s half the battle early in the season. They are only going to get better as they get used to playing with the forward line and defensive pairing combinations. There will probably be some tweaks as the season goes on, but these combos are already pretty good from what I see.

Was Zetterberg supposed to be this dynamic? I don’t think Union had their legs but still the speed and playmaking last night was impressive. I think Cole Hutson is going to be Lane with less stress waiting for the turnover.

Yes. Pandolfo post-game: "We knew what kind of player we were getting.
Tonight, he was excellent. He’s just a really smart player. He makes the right plays at the right time. He’s two steps ahead of his opponents because he's smart. He’s a competitive kid... I thought he was arguably our best forward tonight."

He'll make the second power-play unit much more of a threat.

The goalie was the only one ready to play when the puck dropped. (17 1st period shots for the artist formerly known as The Dutchman). But skill goals lit the lamp and they took care of business.

Kaplan needs to sit a game. He’s good for two hot head dumb penalties a game.

The goalie/sieve sign is back. Thank God.

Yes, it is a bit soft, but I like it. Starting the season earlier and earlier and without exhibitions, the team can ease into what is going to be a tough run coming up with pairs at NoDak (Scary!) and at home with Michigan. Also 2 games at Maine this semester against what is a much improved program lately. Those will be real early tests for this team and I’m looking forward to them for sure. Remember the days of Midnight Madness first practice, an exhibition or 2 and first games around Halloween? How times have changed.

Saturday's game against Harvard is an exhibition game, and will not count. The Ivy League starts after everyone else.

FloHockey's list of "25 Most Intriguing Freshmen in College Hockey" includes four Terriers: Cole Eiserman, Cole Hutson, Sascha Boumedienne and Alex Zetterberg.

Kaplan on BU TV, Mike Sullivan on Lane Hutson, Where are they now? and more on the blog.
