Some of the schedule should be coming soon. Last year the non-conference schedule was out on July 20th, and the Big Ten not until late August.

Exibition game with Omaha to start the season. Omaha will be dedicating the naming of the ice sheet for Mike Kemp. This is cool as Kemp was an assistant at Wisconsin. He recruited a lot of great players to come to Wisconsin in late 80's and early 90's. (I must say, I would have liked to see Standbrook stick around a little longer. I think we would have seen guys like Kariya and Montgomery in Badger uniforms, but that's a different conversation.)

Tough series in the first month going to Denver on Oct. 25 and 26.

I am. I think we will see improvement in year 2.

Very excited for start of the season. I think I'd be more excited for the season if there wasn't quite so much turnover for the guys who were there and left. On paper, is this roster as equally talented as last year, more or less? I think the biggest factor is that there will be more buy-in to the Hastings way of life.

I’m excited just to have guys that want to be here. Not guys who are here, but have one foot holding the door open to potentially leave.

The team feels fairly similar in terms of talent, skill, and compete. It will be interesting to see if the top 6 has a lot of new faces or guys from last year. Will Gramme steal the starting goaltender job?

I’m very excited for this season. There will be more buy-in from the players. Possibly even 100% but-in and if that’s the case, this team will be in the top 10 and have a shot to win games in the NCAA, maybe even get to the FF.
