    (a) Offside occurs when players of an attacking team precede the puck into the attacking zone. The position of the player’s skates and the position of the puck relative to the blue line are determining factors for an “offside” violation.
The position of the player’s stick shall not be considered in all instances deciding offside. A player is considered “offside” when the player does not have skate contact with any part of the Neutral Zone or the blue line when the puck crosses the determining edge of the blue line.

All the NCAA rules refer to skate contact as well.
From Rule 86 of NCAA Ice Hockey: A player is on-side when either of the skates are in contact or over the player's side of the blue line at the instant the puck completely crosses the leading edge of the blue line. The player's side of the line shall be defined by a plane of the blue line which extends from the leading edge of the blue line upwards. If a player’s skate has yet to break the plane prior to the puck completely crosses the leading edge, the player is deemed to be on-side

Maybe this poem is common knowledge, but it’s new to me and hopefully some of you. Getting pumped for Monday

Posting at the end of regulation before we know the result….

3 on 3 and a shootout is an ok gimmick for regular season, but is a terrible way to decide the Beanpot.

Wow, Gunnerwolf Fontaine wrists it between pad and glove for the game winner in OT. Northeastern battled uphill all night. Congrats to the huskies. Whitehead was huge.

Good guys win..this team has been pretty good since Dec 1. That said I am not sure they were the better team, but they deserved to win. Scrappy team playing with confidence and thinking Whitehead is getting better and better
