    • Even if one of them was healthy enough to go this Friday, I don't know if you mess with the chemistry in the lineup right now. Maybe as an extra forward, but having Rasmussen there as the PP specialist has paid some dividends.

      • Totally agree I would not change this line up.. The only change I would make is go 7 D just in case of an injury or someone on the D gets tossed

        • I agree 7 D is the way to go.

          • After his stint there last season, I would bet that Nordstrom is the emergency D if he's in the lineup and you only dress 6.

            • I said it a few weeks ago but after watching Oakland U last night and what they said about not being a Cinderella, it applies to us as well. Our team, if they play like they did vs BG a month ago, can beat anyone.

My guy is a hard-nosed hockey player who is not afraid to crash the net. Your guy is a goon who runs the goalie.

                  • Thanks. Regarding last night, I think we were very fortunate that the refs mostly swallowed their whistles. Both teams got away with what normally would have been called but we got away with more imho.

I also want to point out that the forth line, who had really short shifts all night, got the tieing goal. I thought they were effective every time out.

                    • Looks like UMass is going to get in.

With Cornell winning, it will be Tech vs Boston College in Providence.

                      • Things to do in Providence.
Providence is not bad. if you are near the rink, go up the hill, across the freeway, to the Italian section of town and get some actual good Italian food. Not Michigan Italian food. Lot's of good places to try. Second, take a walk thru the campus of Brown and PC. Both are very nice.
if you're inclined, drive down to Newport which is not far,( nothing in Rhode Island is far) and see all the mansions and boats people have. It's going back in time to a bygone era.
Also, traffic between Providence and Boston is horrible. But you can take the train. it's way less stressful and the train stations in both Boston and Providence are convenient. . You could fly into Boston and get the train to Providence easily or you can just fly to Providence.(The the subway in Boston stops at both the airport and 4 stops later the train station)

                          • That early goal for BC made them a little complacent. Hard to see that continue for long but I like it through 20 minutes.

                              Sadly, you were right.

                              • Well it's hard to be disappointed after the start of the year we had, but still I am. We just gave them too many turnovers, too many looks at the net and in our turn, when we had looks, all we did was shoot it at the goalie. They, on the other hand, shot it at the edges, every time. Second, I didn't think Mosley's penalty deserved a major. it, looked to me like he was actually trying to avoid contact at the end there.

Third, a guy like Jacob Benggston, who played for lssu for 3 years, He played very well today. Without the high quality D they had, there was no way they would win. . I really hate to see small schools turn into farm teams. if that is what it's going to be then we should quit. When teams like BC can basically recruit and play an all star team then you have to wonder if it's worth it to compete. Seriously. What's the point. I also doubt his transfer made his career better long term. He's not getting any more notice from scouts than he had already. . But he did play well.
