And they should have chips on their shoulders. They were the ones not good enough to take to Madison. Some who really have a lot to prove - Luc Wilson. He showed some skills last year, but it never really translated into results. I still think there's a good hockey player inside of him, and he should get ice time this year (Not yanked after 1 mediocre game). Sam Morton - How will he be physically after last year's injury? I think the answer will be "great," but we'll see. Tyler Haskins and Brian Carrabes - A lot of talent, but not much chance to show it at the big schools. And who will step up on the D Corp and seize minutes? I expect to see Koch get a lot of time, but other than that, the guys who did play last year had more sheltered minutes, since 2 and 23 were the workhorses (deservedly, obviously). I did enjoy watching the older age go from a joke among Gophers fans to something that was going to kill college hockey when they all of a sudden couldn't win a game against the Mavs. That being said, wouldn't mind seeing more of a mix with some higher-profile youngsters coming in.Originally posted by purpleinnebraska View PostComment
