It's preseason I have nothing better to do

On Saturday, the West Kelowna Warriors defeated the Merritt Centennials in a preseason game 5-2. Felix Caron had an assist. Landen Hilditch did not dress. Jackson Kyrkostas scored a goal. https://bchl.ca/stats/game-center/12473

Caron's preseason line is now 1-0-1-1-0.
Hilditch's preseason line is 0-0-0-0-0.
Kyrkostas's preseason line is 2-3-0-3-0.

The dates on which some of the women are listed as committing on may be considerably after the actual dates.
I am assuming that Neutral Zone regards their Star ratings as public because they often tweet them with committals.

I was surprised that Landen Hilditch played in neither of West Kelowna's games over the weekend. He is on their roster https://bchl.ca/stats/roster/19 so it isn't that he is traded. Perhaps he is injured or they felt they knew all about him. Hopefully, he will play next weekend.

That makes sense to me since he is probably considered Watson's replacement. I will change it the next time that I post the list. When recruits will arrive is basically a guessing game unless they max out in Junior eligibility.

It certainly makes sense if Watson has a bounce back year, Cherepak continues developing and they both return for '24-'25. If any of that doesn't happen I would think '24 is definitely possible. Oh the joys for coaches trying to project future rosters and recruiting needs. Throw in the extra complication of the portal (in and out) and it seems damn near impossible to be sure of anything.
