I've tried to post at least three times since last night. Let's see if this one goes through.

    - A few too many turnovers for my liking. How many odd man rushes/breakaways did RIT get? Too many for my liking.
    - That said, all of BU's goals were great.
    - How was RIT's second goal not overturned? That looked like textbook offsides to me. I guess the refs were working from a different textbook.
    - Speaking of the refs, where were they from?
    - Was nervous, surprised and relieved that Tuch didn't get a penalty at the end of the second. Seemed very similar to his late in the 2nd period game against BC.
    - I guess Wilmer did something Pandolfo didn't like. He didn't play at all. I feel like he's been a bit non-existent lately.
    - BU's PK needs to step it up.

And now, Minnesota. I'm already nervous.

I saw him wheeling around on one leg in the .... (Sorry, can't remember what period it was) - but yeah. He sprained his ankle against NU in the Quarters. He's hurting. I hope he can go tomorrow night, but they have D depth.

I worry that unless our defense improves significantly we will not go far in this tournament.

They overcame some early jitters. That's the advantage of being a #1 seed and playing against #4. Tomorrow should be a great game. At this point in the season, it comes down to goaltending and your best players being the best players on the ice (I know it's a cliche, but I look at someone like UMass who had about ten chances to win that game and they just didn't anyone who could come through under pressure). We're right where we thought we'd be, but as we all know, now there's a "puck luck" compenent that has to go in our favor to go all the way

My wife wants to know why BC didn't tell the NCAA they couldn't play while Jesus was hanging on the cross (smiley). I can't decide if I should reluctantly root for them today. Its so against everything I believe in.

I have been thinking the same thing about Cade. He was on the ice early in the game, but I don't recall seeing him thereafter.

The box score gives no stats for him, and he is usually prominent in the blocked shots category.

And there has been no mention of him at all (purposely?) in any of the post game chatter. I assume the whole team has traveled to Sioux Falls so, if they need someone.........., I really hope not, though.

Minnesota: Like looking in the mirror. Should be a barn-burner.

Does anyone know what’s going on? Is there a plan? Do we need to hold a fund raiser?

Denver surived v. UMess so that "at least one #1 has lost in the opening round" card has yet to play.

Kareem Ramadan, ya'll. He really does say Quran instead of "kuh-rhon" At least the guys in the studio were getting it right.

Dear ESPN announcer, our goalie is not the Muslim holy book. It's kuh-RON. A whole game of this will drive me nuts.

I think the game against RIT will be similar to playing a good Merrimack team (like last year). It probably will not be a fun game to play.
