Great effort by the men last night. Would love to see a repeat performance tonight. That being said I expect the Gophers to come out extremely hard in the first 10 minutes tonight. Hopefully Hastings has the guys ready and expecting a big push at puck drop. Let's get this sweep!!

Gopher goal against was a nice trio of mistakes from Jugnauth, Lucius and Silye. Jugnauth fell and Lucius/Silye made it too easy to skate through the middle.

Hockey is back. And then some. Can't believe this turnaround. Great job so far by Hastings and everyone. Night and day.

I think what I like the most about this group so far is they don’t flinch. The Goofs score early in the third and there’s no panic - stay composed and keep grinding.

I love all three of the ex-Mavs, Fitzgerald is everywhere, Tassy’s play tonight speaks for itself, and I think Silye is about to explode - he’s right there on so many plays that it’s only a matter of time.

McClellan is the unsung hero this weekend on a team full of unsung heroes - he seems so calm and composed.

They say that a team takes on the personality of it head coach and it sure looks like Hastings has his fingerprints all over this group. Grab some of the money they’re paying Fick and give it to Hastings and his staff - they’ve actually earned it.

100% agree with everything you said. Relentless and resilient are other words I would use to describe this team.

Side note: Posick was running through the scores around the country and he said #2 Denver was only up 4-3 on Augustana in the 3rd. I went to the Denver site to follow the score. Augustana tied it at 4-4 and then Rizzo (ugh) scored to make it 5-4. There's about 3 minutes left in the game still. Beating Augustana twice the way this team did is looking better and better with each weekend that passes.
