SCHEDULE NEWS

Hauge divulged a little bit about next season’s schedule.

UConn of Hockey East will be coming to Messa Rink for a pair of games. Union dropped two games at UConn this season.

Another Hockey East school, Maine, coached by former Union assistant coach and RPI player Ben Barr, is expected to come to Messa.

Union will play two games at Colorado College. The teams were supposed to meet in the 2020-21 season, but Union didn’t play that year because of the coronavirus pandemic. Colorado College, coached by former Dutchmen goalie Kris Mayotte, played twice at Union in 2021-22.

NCHC dropping conference schedule today so we could see some nonconference games revealed as well if the team has it ready. Historically some teams dropped their entire schedule same day and some waited a little longer because they needed to finalize a series.

UMD had 11 nonconference games on the schedule but I found out that the game against Michigan Tech is a hall of fame game - that explains the extra game as the HOF game is exempt. (I forgot to remove last years HOF game from spreadsheet when I released it)

Miami also revealed the nonconf schedule. I should have the spreadsheet updated tomorrow with the entire NCHC schedule along with Duluth, Dakota, & Miami's non-conference.

Haha yea, I just add exhibitions onto the calendar when I have dates for them and they won't be colored
