How much are they going up? They probably need the money so are trying to get people to pay early.

Single game tickets are so easy to get they would be wise to give people a decent deal on season tickets. I don’t think the schedule is as good as it used to be either. I hope someday hockey easy can go back to three games against each opponent.

I saw people saying their package went up 25-75 bucks - across the whole season. Given inflation, expectations and the teams success last year, seems like a reasonable increase.

Mine went up 50$, Im ok with that. Its still a decent deal, Its like 18$ or 19$ a game vs per game seats that are $30.
We need to generate dome revenue to move ahead.

          • Just saw Mucitelli’s name pop up in the portal. I’m guessing that means Berzins is coming in this year.

Listen I get it....you play the part of the Debbie Downer Mainer perfectly...it's part of your schtick. Just like Drew is the perfect UM hockey foil....he loves playing the role of "that guy".
One issue with any rankings of college hockey recruits is the idea of what you are ranking.

In football or basketball, for the big programs, it's simple. Everyone is recruiting high school seniors, and whoever brings in the most talented high school seniors, that's the best recruiting class. Now, granted, the transfer portal is more important than ever so in figuring out who will be a better team you need to factor that in, but by and large the most talented incoming freshman class = the highest ranking.

Hockey recruiting rankings seem to follow the same logic. The highest rated classes are generally full of 18 or 19 year old kids who are draft eligible, and hope to play a year or two and then go pro. However, that's not necessarily the best path to actually win college hockey games. No recruiting class with 21 or 22 year old undrafted finished products is going to be ranked very highly. But that team may win more games than the young, high upside team, especially when those players find that upside in the NHL or AHL.

And, at the end of the day, who is ranking these guys? Who actually has laid eyes on the Nadeaus in the BCHL, the top USHL guys down in Texas, the Massachusetts and Minnesota prep kids, AND the Swedish kids playing for professional clubs' junior teams? Outside of the most plugged in NHL scouts, no one.

I think we can both be excited that there are talented kids coming in AND take wherever the recruiting rankings are with a grain of salt.

Agreed, but this is still the best recruited class since the Whitehead Era, no matter how one parses it.

Again, though, Barr needs to bring in a top-notch goalie. I don't see Ostmann leading Maine into a FF.

                • #1 round Draft Picks at Maine.
                  Paul Kariya(93). Peter Ferraro(92). Barrett Heisten(99).
                  Most likely Bradly Nadeau(23).
It has been a long time.
$90(more) for a drink holding ledge and a Maine blanket, but the views still great.

                  • I got my letter today and my club level seats went up $400. I was also told it's not in the announcement but the sound system is 99 percent going to get done this summer they are just waiting on the contract.

Hope all the portal guys find a place that works for them.

                          Another Mt. St. Charles recruit.
Ranked 218 on the current central scouting ranks.
Brother Bryce currently plays in the USHL and is a Carolina draft pick.

This kid looks like he could develop into something really special. The stats don’t jump off the page at you but if you watch his highlight video, he can really skate and is shifty for a guy of that size.

Probably needs another year or two develop, hopefully in the USHL but really like this pickup.

I searched for his brother, curious if maybe he might be coming along as well as a package deal. But unfortunately, he's already played for OHL London, so he is NCAA ineligible.

                              • Once he stops growing and adapts to his new changing strengths, he might surprise us. A young raw talent with good hands and size…6’4” at 18?
