TLDR or if you're paywalled: RPI recently sued a cleaning company for $1MM. The company's janitors accidentally shut off a freezer in an RPI lab, destroying research cell samples that were over 20 years old.

I've heard nothing from the Tute about any special plans to celebrate the school's bicentennial, but that's what next year will be.

Maybe for the second half of the season we could use "RPI 2024 - After 200 years, we're ready to get it right."

No, but I've been by it over 100 times and seen many events at the ballpark across the street and the nearby Civic Center.
