Sorry it took me so long, but here's the spreadsheet with all the entries. I decided to include the entries posted on here but not submitted on the form because the more the merrier! If you submitted multiple times, I used your most recent submission. I'm going to try to generate the same graphs and data lugnut92 used to, but I haven't done this before so bear with me as I figure it out. Might take me a bit.

I have done the calculations. Congrats to apple2k on their win with 26 points! bigfootbro from Reddit took 2nd place with 30 points, while techtodenver and redsoxfan2194 from Reddit tied for 3rd with 32 points.

Overall, it was a very good year for us, with half the entries getting 50 points or less. The ECAC has definitely gotten fairly predictable.

Sorry for the lack of posts and activity. Now that I have the hang of things, I'll try to post updates in the second half of the year next season. Thanks to all who participated and good luck to all your favorite teams in the playoffs!

Holy Mackinaw! I just saw this post, and while I knew I had made some decent guesses, I thought that Princeton's season would sink my chances.

Hey everyone, here's the contest for this coming season!

Scoring is unchanged from prior years. In short, you will receive a score based on the square of the distance from your picks to the actual standings (e.g., if you pick a team in 4th but they finish in 7th, you get (7-4)² or 9 points). Sum those up for the twelve ECAC teams and you'll have a score between 0 and 572. The entrant with the lowest score will be our winner.
You have until the puck drops on the first game of the season (RPI vs Union; Saturday, 7 October at 3 PM EDT) to get your picks in. The reason I'm choosing this instead of the end of October with the first ECAC games is that these predictions are supposed to represent what you think before the season starts. If you get to see 3 weeks of hockey before making a prediction, that defeats the purpose.

Tie breakers are:
Pick correctly the ECACHL Regular Season Champ.
Have the most teams in the correct order of finish.
Have the most top 6 teams in the correct order of finish.
I will flip a coin.

You can change your picks at any time up till the drop of the puck of the first game, just edit your entry on the google form. The reason I'm using a google form is so I can have the contest across a few different platforms.
