It’s more of a feeling thing. It’s just about as close and good of a shot without going in. It only happens a few times a game usually and it makes that noise! In reality it is a missed shot (but so close!)

    • Doesn't even count as a SOG, it is like a lip out in golf. Yeah it was close but it didn't go in.

      • Who is BU’s all time leader in penalty minutes?

          • Ah Gryba was who I was thinking of. Thanks.

I’m at the game. Quinnipiac doesn’t have a chance. Huge miscue by a defenseman leading to a Gopher goal. And they only have one shot on goal.

Hey you were there! That's a fantastic final to witness in person.

                      • It will be very interesting over the next few days who decides to stay or sign. Tuch, Weber, Peterson, Commesso, Hutson?, etc.

Just saw Jay OBrien signed with Penguins. Any chance Matt Brown would stick around for one more year? Playing next to Celebrini for a season may increase his stock.

                          • I'd like to think Hutson stays around. He's super talented but the Minny game in particular made him look very much a talented freshman still. I suppose he could sign for the bucks and develop in the system, and I'd not begrudge that as he'd be getting paid. But would love to have him on the ice for us again.

                              My gut:

Hutson - staying. even the Habs can see that he would benefit from another year.
Peterson and Tuch - I put these guys in the same place - maybe haven't developed as much as their NHL teams hoped, but given their physical tools, could still turn into NHLers. The question is would they rather that happen under Jay (while also risking losing their rights) or in the AHL?
Stevens and Armstrong - there seems to be lots of consensus hoping these guys come back for a 5th year. Really improved this year, just excellent 4th-liners
McCarthy - might he come back to play with his brother? I'm guessing no.
Webber - I really hope he returns but I could see his team (Carolina?) really wanting to sign him.

Totally agree with this summary. I think all those players could benefit from another year of college hockey.
