Anthony Walsh NTDP. Those are the new assistant coaches for Colgate.
Walsh is not a done deal.
I've been lost since 1989. I got a breakaway on a frozen river and have been skating ever since.

          • It doesn’t seem like either assistant is a done deal.

                    • Shabby, if you are asking me, I get the schedule info from the schedule thread on this site. It seems that other schools post their non-conference schedules sooner than Colgate does.
As for Cameron Eke, I don’t normally follow recruits. But i was looking at the NHL draft picks and, after scrolling past six with ‘Cornell’ after their names, I found one with ‘Colgate.’ Yay!!

Congrats to Ryan McGuire (Minnesota) and Carter Gylander (Detroit) on being invited to NHL development camps.

                            • Perhaps I just missed the news, but have seen zero announcements confirming the hiring of two assistant coaches for this year...after all, we're half-way through July...Carmelo Crandall, an early recruit (a 2005 birth year kid who scored a point/game in the AJHL last year) has apparently de-committed and is following, who else, Dana Borgues and Alex Young to ASU down the line...I wish Mike Harder all the best - a great player for us and comes off as bright and well-spoken - but did we even consider Dana in the coaching mix following DV's retirement? I have it on very good authority that today's young men really love playing for coaches who are young (this may be generational, who knows?)...perhaps adding two quality 30-year old assistant coaches will help in this regard...I hope so...

                              • GreenCoat - you haven't missed any announcements. If what was posted a month ago regarding Zach Badalamenti (age 30) and Anthony Walsh (age 28) becoming our Assistants is true, then we will have young coaches.
