The bottom line is pretty simple...other than the Yale blowout we struggle to score goals (and have for God Knows How Long...)...unlike last night the effort was there...but the bottom line is two losses, bringing our o-o-c record this year to 2-7-1 (and it's not like we're playing - with the exception of Merrimack - any top 20 teams)...really, not much else to say...I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving...

We are winning…at losing. And since when is it not customary to fire a coach for repeated bad performance? I’ll answer that: NEVER. Hard to respect the school and the powers that be for not taking decisive action. Maybe Vaughan should do the same. Just another, sub .500 season without an ECAC Title, now 32 years and counting.

With a split this weekend, our record will be five and three in ECAC standings, probably good for fifth place. This is right about where I thought we'd be at his time. Go Gate !

Moore bolts for Cornell...not a surprise at all to yours truly as I mentioned the possibility of just such a move several weeks ago on the Tapatalk site...now, Colgate, get a very qualified candidate AND, if possible, one who is a Colgate alumnus (-ae), following in the footsteps of Dunlap, Murphy, Chun...no more Roahces, no more Moores...

What are the general thoughts with her? I know quite a few Cornell folks have had their criticisms of Noel, the outgoing AD, over the years

Frankly Red it seems the Ivy League is intent on having eight female ADs...many, including yours truly, think she was a lot of form, scant substance...MIH and football needed strong, decisive input...I don't think we got very much...as Cornell is my favorite Ivy I wish you luck...you may need it...

Frankly, disappointed no one even cares to opine on the departure of our AD...I will say, lots of activity on the Colgate Tapatalk site...IMO her handling of the situation with MIH has set the program back five years...good job Nikki...at least Cornell hockey will be much harder to ruin...perhaps those who thought Nikki was so wonderful can now focus on resurrecting Beto O'Rourke's national aspirations...

Under Dr. Nicki Moore’s leadership as Athletic Director, Colgate men’s ice hockey record against Cornell is 5-4-0, which includes a shoot-out victory.

Of course, Don Vaughan deserves some credit, too, for that record as Coach.

Well, She got beer sales instated in the '65 Rink, that certainly has to count for something !!
