BU has Murtaugh (4.5 star), Fondrk (5 star), Tretheway (4.5 star), and Morin (5 star) so far. BC has Mutryn (4 star) and Cornforth (4 star). It’s looking like Cullen Potter (5 star) is going to commit to BU at some point too. Do Greg Brown and Staff realize they need to actually recruit players? If we lose out on James Hagens then it’ll be a complete disaster.
so??? Your boys will win it all this year before they split and bc will go 1 up….

This is exactly what I posted about on July 5th. The only thing that is comforting is a lot of the NTDP U17 team has yet to commit (for some reason). Normally, most of the team is committed by the first week in August.

      • The recruiting is not unusual after a big year. Kids think that they will be top 6 forwards at BU, but not at BC due to the incoming talent.

        Go Eagles!

So they think they'll be more likely to play early for the team that made the Frozen Four last year over the team that didn't make the tournament? Who also happens to have a big recruiting class coming in that includes next year's likely 1st overall draft pick? As a BC fan and season ticket holder, I think your take is a stretch.

I would also add that the of the big 3 forwards coming to BC this year, the chances of more than one of them still being here in two years when most of this recruiting class would be arriving is pretty slim. So I don't think there is a log-jam of high end talent preventing top players from committing.
