Sad news.
Jimmy Connelly @jimmyconnelly
Sad to learn that former @hockey_east Rookie of the Year Peter Vetri, a goaltender who played at both
@RiverHawkHockey and @QU_MIH passed away suddenly this week. Read back to the story I wrote in 2005 when he won ROY. Beat out Chris Bourque for the award.

The River Hawks will open the 2023-24 season at Alaska Anchorage.
From the STH email:
Things we can tell you – the season will begin Saturday, October 7 in Anchorage with a two-game series with UAA (for those looking to travel to Anchorage for the trip, we are not planning a coordinated trip at this point). We also know we will be spending the first weekend of 2024 in Tempe for an Arizona State hosted tournament (January 5-6), for those looking to get a head start on booking road travel!Last edited by boblav1; 05-28-2023, 11:24 PM.
